Sports Car and Classic Car Festival 2023

Hi everyone, the inaugural Sports Car and Classic Car Festival 2023 is shaping up to be a great event with something for just about all ages and motoring interests.
We’re expecting upwards of 300 cars at the event on 7 May, which will also feature displays by the #AustralasianMotorMuseumsAssociation and the #qldmotorsportmuseum
A great highlight will be the grand parade as vehicles exit the venue after 3pm via the race circuit using the new track connection road. No race licence required. A rare opportunity indeed!
If you’re up for a bit of high-speed excitement, #queenslandraceway will have their #V8Raceexperience available. Or strap in for some high-octane fun in their brand new QLD Raceway #Karts. Anyone aged 10 and over and 1.5m and taller can take a spin.
We encourage clubs to organise a run out to Ipswich for the day and start arriving from 10am. We’d ask that clubs organise members to stagger their arrival to avoid queues.
Bring a picnic and enjoy one of the shady grassed areas, or enjoy the coffee cart and full-service cafe with soft drinks, tea, coffee, burgers, steak sandwiches, sandwiches and fruit etc. Good quality toilet facilities are also on site.
Make sure you book before the early bird special disappears – just $20 a car for driver and one passenger. Additional passengers $20 a head. This will revert to $20 per person in your vehicle after the early bird expires. Spectator ticket prices are the same.
Please note that if you purchase on the day, no cash will be accepted – contactless payment only. And, in case of any internet problems it’s advised to take a screen shot of your ticket and store it in your phone, or print it out including the QR code.
