Rocky Swap – 2025

The 2025 Rocky Swap returns on 2nd August!
Gates open 7am Saturday to the public.

This year we have some new additions to the Swap and the return of some favourites!

Onsite camping for Site Holders on Friday night – this must be pre booked. Site Holders can still camp on their booked sites on the Friday Night.

Plus introducing the Rocky Swap Campgrounds

Located within the Rockhampton Showgrounds. Access is via Gate 8. This campground is available to book for Site Holders and Visitors.

Available Friday – Sunday.
Check in 2 pm Friday,
Check Out by 10am Sunday.

Includes onsite Toilets, Showers and Camp Kitchen with charging station.

Camp Sites are 6m x 6m: up to 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children.
Campground Rates:
Friday and Saturday: $77 per site for the two nights.

No vehicle movement or access to Campgrounds between 6am – 4.30pm due to Public Access Gate 8 for Rocky Swap.

Plus casual swap site bookings available:

Must be booked at Robert Schwarten Pavilion Foyer – please do not enter showgrounds or swappers entry before you have armbands.

Thursday: 4pm – 6pm
Friday: 5pm – 9pm
Saturday: 3am – 4am

Site Details:
Site Size: 5m x 12m

Site Fee: $35 or $50 (including PL Insurance)

Fee includes Public Liability Insurance for your swap site during 7am – 4pm Saturday 2nd August. $35 if you have your own PL Insurance and you must show a copy of your Certificate Of Currency prior to collecting armband.

Site Fee includes ONE Swappers Gate Entry Armband. Additional armbands are $6.

Location: Vacant Sites will be filled on first arrived basis and then the Casual Bookings area on Rocky Swap Map.
